Picnic events UPDATE – NNN thanks everyone for the overwhelming response and interest in BOTH of Colonel Justus’ mega picnic celebrations this weekend. Both locations reached their full capacity for reservations shortly after the announcement was made online Friday morning and over the radio. Generous LEO’s and deputies [from outside both county agencies] are volunteering their services at the entrances of the private estates where both events are being held this weekend. All deputies will have Motorola bar code scanners and will only allow guests access upon presentation and verification of the guests pass with the valid bar code printout. REPEAT – Yes, there are full restroom facilities and plenty of tents at both locations. Attendees include trained physicians and medical staff should the need for medical assistance arise.

Statistics show AT LEAST 600 US citizens are shot and killed by police every year – police deaths average less than 1 per state across the US. ALL these lives are important – citizens and police!
Founders of Recovery Team, Bill Schrader and Fred Pettersen must have really done their homework when they hired Terry Marvin as their Program Director.
